Katsina APC Youths Endorse Governor Radda for Second Term, Highlight Two Years of Achievements

Youth members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State on Sunday publicly endorsed Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, for a second term in office, citing what they described as significant achievements recorded by his administration within two years.
The endorsement was made during a large-scale youth stakeholders’ meeting of the APC held in Katsina. The event was organised by the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Communications for Katsina Zone, Hon. Abubakar Sani Dan Abba.
Addressing the gathering on behalf of the governor, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Engineer Dr. Surajo Yazid Abukur, said Governor Radda had demonstrated purposeful leadership and a clear development agenda that justified the call for continuity.
According to him, the governor’s performance across key sectors within a short period underscored his capacity to sustain development and deepen reforms if given another mandate.
Dr. Abukur conveyed the governor’s appreciation to the youths for their consistent support, noting that the administration had deliberately prioritised youth inclusion by appointing young people into various positions across the state.
In his welcome address, Hon. Abubakar Sani Dan Abba explained that the meeting was convened to sensitise youths on the policies, programmes and achievements of the Radda administration, while also encouraging them to play active roles in the state’s development process.
He stated that the Katsina State Government under Governor Radda had made tangible impacts across multiple sectors, including road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, business financing, agriculture, security and other critical areas affecting daily life.
Hon. Dan Abba further commended the governor for his sustained support for youth empowerment initiatives, aimed at promoting self-reliance and economic independence among young people in the state.
During the event, several achievements of the state government over the past two years were outlined, with goodwill messages and remarks delivered by notable stakeholders, including Dr. Shamsu Yahaya, Dr. Lawal Bala, PhD, Naufal Ahmad, Hon. Nura Aliyu Batsari, Hon. Mannir Ayuba Sullubawa, among others.
The meeting, which took place at the Continental Event Centre, attracted a wide range of participants, including government officials, politicians, youth organisations, business leaders and members of the general public.
The gathering concluded with a unanimous expression of confidence in Governor Radda’s leadership and a collective call for his re-election to consolidate ongoing development efforts in Katsina State.
